承接第一季的故事，老王意外收获了一大笔财富，雄心勃勃的他准备与好兄弟Bruce在海外共同创业，从头再来。老王与Bruce建立了王氏创投公司，他们的办公室就设立在原有House的地下室，于是一系列令人啼笑皆非，但又积极向上的创业故事展开了。华人在海外最初的标志性印象就是中国美食和中国功夫。老王和Bruce在公司助理Jessica和Queenie的辅助下吃遍了多伦多的特色美食最后一事无成，还落荒而逃，幸运的是老王在屡次失败后结识了他人生中另外一位红颜知己Michelle。在Smantha的帮助下老王和Bruce又干上了当前火热的购房旅游团，专门接待来自大陆的房地产投资人士，终于成功的赚到了公司的第一桶金。老王在接团的过程中又巧遇了前妻任桂英得知自己的女儿即将到来加拿大上学的消息。Bruce终于实现了他的梦想开设了中国功夫馆，在一次比武大会后选定了武馆的总教头大师兄。通过学习中国武术，Bruce与Jessica的室友Angel和Marry建立了深厚的友谊，并渐渐与Marry发展成了恋人。Jessica也同时找到了她的梦中情人来自中国的高富帅留学生Hanson。通过中西方青年对价值观和爱情观的对比，展示了中西方文化教育的不同。老王与Bruce创业的脚步并没有停歇，他们先后又主办和参与了一系列文化项目《多伦多好声音》，《土星小姐选美大赛》，创办了《王氏创投》杂志等等，最终都因为不具备专业知识而变成一场场的闹剧。正当老王有一些心灰意冷的时候，他的红颜知己Michelle和他的前妻任桂英向他伸出了援助之手。
