编剧高远奈津（水川麻美饰）与丈夫省吾（真岛秀和饰）生活在琦玉市郊。省吾曾是电视台导演，现以煮夫身份耕耘菜园来支持奈津的工作。奈津本不应对这种生活心生不满，但内心却翻涌出无法抑制的欲望。某天，奈津在电子邮件中向话剧演员志泽一狼太（村上弘明饰）袒露了自己的心声，并收到邀约。踌躇再三后，最终与其暗通款曲。在省吾对自己剧本的指手画脚下，奈津心生不快，两人因某事发生争执。奈津意识到丈夫是要掌控自己，于是离家前往东京生活。至此，志泽似要回避她。空缺似乎要得到填补。奈津在脱口秀现场重逢了大学时的学长岩井良介（田中圭饰），两人曾有过关系。岩井现已有家室。而奈津熟识的新晋演员大林一也（桝俊太郎饰）竟又让她心痒难耐。
