剧情：
小女孩桃乐丝·盖尔（JudyGarland饰）随叔叔、婶婶住在堪萨斯州中部的农场。某天，龙卷风袭来，为找到心爱的小狗，桃乐丝没能及时躲藏。强大的龙卷风将桃乐丝藏身的小木屋卷入空中。不知经过多久，小木屋终于落到地面，而且把一个邪恶的女巫也给压死了。在善良的北方女巫的指点下，桃乐丝和小狗启程前往魔法师奥兹（FrankMorgan饰）所居住的翡翠城，祈求他能帮助自己回家。路上，桃乐丝遇见了没有脑子的稻草人（RayBolger饰）、缺少心脏的铁皮人（JackHaley饰）以及胆小如鼠的狮子（BertLahr饰），为了实现各自的愿望，他们随桃乐丝一同前行。一路上经历千难万险，更有邪恶的西方女巫处处阻挠，他们的愿望最终能否实现呢？本片根据美国同名童话改编。

Together, the parts constitute a film portrait of John Berger, the British writer and thinker.In 1973 - Berger abandoned the metropolis to live in the tiny Alpine village of Quincy. He realized that subsistence peasant farming, which had sustained humanity for millennia, was drawing to an historical close. He determined to spend the rest of his life bearing witness to this vanishing existence, not least by participating in it. Berger’s trilogy Into their Labours chronicles the peasant life of this Alpine village and its surrounding countryside. Our portrait places Berger in the rhythm of the seasons in Quincy.The four parts of the film each address different strands of Berger's life and work. The first, Ways of Listening, directed by Colin MacCabe, deals with fathers and friendship. Spring, directed by Christopher Roth, considers Berger's writing on our relationship with animals in juxtaposition with the animals that surround him in the Haute Savoie. A Song for Politics, directed by Colin MacCabe and Bartek Dziadosz, reflects on politics through a conversation between Berger, Colin MacCabe, Ben Lerner, Akshi Singh and Christopher Roth. 剧情：
客岁過世的波蘭導演耶吉‧卡瓦萊洛威茲,是「Polish Film School運動」中的代表人物之一。其作品擅長以影像呈現細膩的細節,累積給予觀者強烈的震能源。議題圍繞個人在社會備受政治或戰爭壓迫下,人道的掙扎與品德的選擇。這些深具豐富意涵的創作文本,也讓他的作品深受影壇重視。1951年拍攝首部劇情長片「The Village Mill」,隨後实现「Shadow」(1956) ,以及本片「夜車」,這些影片都被視為相當具時代代表性的波蘭電影。卡瓦萊洛威茲亦曾主掌着名的KADR 製作部門,安德烈華依達!塔都茲考威克(Tadeusz Konwicki) 跟尤利斯馬休斯基(Juliusz Machulski)都曾在其製作部門任务。他最為人所熟知的影片莫過於1961年的「修女約安娜」,以及1966年改編自Bolesław Prus的歷史小說「Pharaoh」,本片亦入圍了1967的奧斯卡最佳外語片。「夜車」敘述一對男女Jerzy跟Marta不测埠在前去波羅地海邊Hel的夜車上共處一室。一表人才的Jerzy狀似緊張,看來像是在回避追趕,Marta剛開始也缄默不言,渐渐的兩人才成為友人。在車上還有愛慕著Marta的男孩Staszek,以及擁有豔光四射的年輕太太的老律師。當火車停靠在一個小站裡,警方上車開始搜寻惧罪潛逃的殺人犯時,谣言開始四起,都將警方要緝捕的對象,指向這個車廂中的Jerzy跟Marta…。差别於當時深受義大利新寫實主義影響的「Polish Film School運動」作品,「夜車」瀰漫著希區考克式的懸疑詭譎氣氛。全片的劇情推展在火車內進行,封閉的車廂成為卡瓦萊洛威茲最好的發展空間。火車上搭客間相互的猜疑與不信赖,可說是當時波蘭共產社會的最佳寫照,也是一部波蘭影史主要的傑作。
